Coral Restoration Foundation Website (2012)
Web design and development
Client: Coral Restoration Foundation
The Coral Restoration Foundation is a nonprofit that rebuilds damaged coral ecosystems by artifically transplanting new coral into reefs. The original CRF website was a labyrinth of broken links, missing plugins, and misplaced content; telltale signs of an underfunded and understaffed nonprofit. Most importantly, the confusing site architecture sometimes impeded potential donations.
The new website is easy to navigate, makes better use of the organization’s wealth of stunning underwater photography, and offers multiple clear-cut pathways to the donation system.
Art directed by Bryan Kriekard and Blake Everingham at Great Big Circle.
